Birth photography is one of the most important, real and beautiful times in your life. Seeing your baby for the first time is a moment that should be treasured and remembered with documentary style professional images capturing your beautiful journey. *Why choose birth photography?*

There are so many moments in life that can be recreated, but the birth of your child is not one of them. Capturing the moment you see your baby for the first time is a moment that should be forever looked back on and treasured. 

*Will my images be shared on the internet or social media?*

We never share private images without permission. Birth photography is an intimate time in your life. We only share certain images with permission only.

*Does it matter how long my birth is?*

We do not charge hourly for live births. Births are unexpected, some are long, some are short. We will be there from active labor until baby has arrived.

*Why is birth photography so expensive?*

We are on call available to you 24/7 from 38weeks till your due date. We do not schedule weddings, other birth due dates or travel within your birth "timeframe".

*What if I have a cesarean birth?* 

This does not effect my ability to tell your birth story, but must be approved by your provider. If we are unable to be in the O.R. we will capture every moment leading up to and after.

*Will I feel like I am "on display?" *

While capturing a birth think of me as a "fly on the wall."  I respect your birthing space and work around staff and family members using flattering angles. I use high end equipment that does well in low light that I do not use a distracting flash during births and capture your story "as is".

*How do I book a birth session?"*

Once you have established a firm due date and consulted with your doctor about allowing birth photography, contact us to check our availability. We will then set up a time to meet, discuss your birth plan and fill out a contract covering your birth photography journey.
